The campus is spread out over 350 acres, it contains buildings from as far back as the 18th century with the main concourse built during the 60s when accessibility was not on the agenda. As a result we have very modern accessible buildings interspersed with period houses and sixties style architecture which is highly inaccessible. This workshop will give an overview of the importance of physical accessibility for all staff and students in UCD, not just those with physical disabilities as well as giving an insight into some of the important accessibility works underway at UCD.
