You must also obtain a signed letter of agreement from a person authorized to speak for the
institution where you will be doing your work. Before you can begin working on your project, the
proposal and letter of agreement must be approved by the 388L instructor for the section in which you
are enrolled.

PROPOSAL
Describe what your project will entail. Include a description of both what you will do (an overall
description of the work to be performed, a set of work activities, a list of deliverables, a schedule) and
what you hope to learn (learning objectives). Also include criteria for evaluating your work.
Keep in mind that the PEP should involve approximately 125 hours of work and should be an
independent, student-led project.
