The branch of dentistry concerned with the diseases of oral and para oral structures, including oral soft tissues and mucous membranes and the teeth, jaws, and salivary glands. During each practical the students will be shown microscopic slides and Clinical photographs related to the topic. The students are given a laboratory manual in which they have to identify and label the diagrams and also write a few important points regarding the diagram. The students will also be asked a few basic questions to assess their understanding of the subject and evaluate their cognitive skills. Sl.
