Education BS in Mechanical Engineering University of Missouri – Rolla (currently Missouri S&T) May 1987 Rolla, MO Personal Interests I volunteer my time as a co-alumnus adviser, housing corporation member and founder of a 501(c)(3) education foundation for my college fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order. Our education foundation awards approximately $35,000 in scholarships each year to students at Missouri S&T. Our housing corporation recently completed a $4.5 million renovation to our chapter house at Missouri S&T. I was deeply involved in developing the business plan for the renovation, fundraising over $1 million to date and working with the constructor and architect. The project was completed in 2014. I speak Brazilian Portuguese as a second language. My computer skills are great and I am always on the lookout for new tech. My hobbies include golf, boating and SCUBA diving.
