Define:
- An operating system (OS) is a collection of software that
manages computer hardware resources and provides
common services for computer programs.
- The operating system is a main component of the system
software in a computer system. Application programs
require an operating system to function.
Computer Maintenance software:
Type of OS:
1- Single task single user(DOS).
2- Single user, Multi tasking(Windows).
3- Multi-user, Multi task(Unix, Linux).
Company that product OS:
Microsoft – Apple – Sun Micro system.
Main differences between OS’s:
- User Interface.
- Command and use.
- Setting.
- System Requirement.

Windows 8 Pro*), Plus it has premium features designed to
provide the mobile productivity, security, manageability and
virtualization needs of today's businesses.
Enterprise: a project or undertaking, typically one that is
difficult or requires effort.
