the bus and go to see a Sicilian puppet
show using puppets like the ones we
had seen in the museum at Taormina.

Dinner at the Mondello Palace
• Mary Jane had mentioned the previous
evening that she missed not having had a
chance to have artichokes while in Sicily.
• Jim Cooper, being the thoughtful
gentleman he is, mentioned this to Enzo,
our guide.
• Enzo talked to the chef, and we were
surprised with a special course of batterdipped, fried quarters of small, tender
artichokes as a special course at dinner.
