In addition, this change meets at least one of the Deparment’s goals and objectives (e.g., develop problem-solvers and critical thinkers) and the College’s goals and objectives (e.g., cultivating graduates prepared to be successful business leaders).

Rationale:
This change expands the number of options that MPA students will have to supplement their degree programs with accounting electives that better suit their individual interests. These courses are currently being offered and taken as electives, but are not formally or officially recognized in the MPA degree program guidelines.
