Curriculum and Instruction Department Meeting Wednesday, May 9th from 2:00-4:00 in Winther 1013 Agenda: As this is the last meeting of the academic year there is quite a bit of “clean up” and looking forward work to accomplish (reports from committees and curricular action). 1. Action Items a. Approve minutes from last meeting (emailed with this agenda) 2. Discussion/Activity a. Department “retreat” for the fall – time, date, etc.? (see draft of orientation schedule distributed at meeting) b. Music Education – discussion about changes proposed by Music Department (see proposal distributed at meeting) c. Matching research/teaching/service with Global Ed Position (King) – handout at meeting (please have ideas to me by May 14th) d. We will try to finish early so people can look at the spring 2013 schedule (we realize that some groups of people need to discuss this before giving information to Julie, September 11 is last day to update but we only have room priority until June 1) 3.
