Spring Semester
This Summary Reflection is to be completed at the end of spring semester.
Summarize your experience as a graduate fellow in the K-12 school and how the partnership
with your teacher is working. Describe where you feel you are relative to each of these four
objectives and provide justification for your answers.
1) We had hoped that you would learn to use inquiry-based teaching of STEM knowledge and
skills. How have you succeeded in this goal?
2) We had hoped that you would come to appreciate the challenges, rewards and needs of K-12
education. Describe new insights you have gained on this topic.
3) We had hoped that you would learn to develop and share your expertise with non-technical
individuals. How has your ability to do this changed?
4) We had hoped that you would become effective at reflection regarding the teaching of
STEM. Describe how you have or have not used reflection to inform your teaching and
affect student learning.
