Study abroad programming has become much more complex and varied in recent years, with community colleges leading the way by offering innovative programs designed especially for the community college student. Short-term, content-driven programs in non-western nations are increasing. At the same time, student interests, the travel industry, and transfer institutions place new demands on our expertise. This program is designed to help college officials learn current, important information about study abroad programming today.
* Presidents * Study Abroad Advisors
* International Education Directors * International Student Services Staff
* Chief Academic Officers * Deans of Students/ Student Development
The two-hour program will focus on college programs, led by college staff, that offer academic credit. Featured segments will demonstrate innovative designs that particularly respond to the unique nature of community colleges and their students, including programs that offer occupational, clinical, experiential or other specialized learning experiences.
Viewers will have the opportunity to pose questions throughout the presentations, during the mid-point break, and again at the conclusion of the videoconference.
