Most Frequently Asked Questions
Bathrooms – are located inside the Empire Hall to the left and to the right of the main entrance door. Port-aPotties are also located along the Outdoor Walk Route on the corner of Troup and Exchange Streets.
Elevators – are located to the left of the stairs near the registration area. Follow the signs.
Stroller Parking – is located near the elevators. Follow the signs.

Animals/Pets - Are not allowed in the Convention Center except for safety or guidance reasons.

Inside Route – 4 laps equal 1 mile
12 laps equal 3 miles
Outside Route – equals 3 miles
Pictures - Due to a limited amount of space and time, not all walk companies were able to be scheduled for a
team photo. If you have concerns, please feel free to visit Alicia Thompson located at the food tables in the pink
shirt.
Heart Walk Shirts – If walker is on a corporate team, shirts will be delivered to the company leader for
distribution. If an individual, shirts will be delivered to $500 Club members (those raising $500+ dollars) and
those who raised under $500 will be mailed their shirts. WBEE team members will be sent an email of when
shirts can be picked up from the American Heart Association Office. All shirts will be deliver within 4 weeks
post walk.
Shirt Colors – Pink is American Heart Association Staff; Gold is Logistics Committee Chairs & Key
Volunteers; Purple is Logistics Committee Members and general volunteers.
In Case of Emergency – Please see a person in either a gold or pink shirt.
