Resolutions for December 15, 2009 Senate Meeting
Resolution to approve Tima Marathe as Vice President of the Brighton Campus Student Government Association
Whereas, under Article III, Section 5 of the Brighton Campus Student Government Association Constitution, whenever there
is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon
confirmation by a two-thirds vote of the Senate, present and voting, and
Whereas, such a vacancy exists at this time in the office of the Vice President, and
Whereas, President Childers has nominated Tima Marathe to the Vice Presidency under Article III, §5 of the Constitution, be
it
Resolved, that the Senate confirm President Childers’ nomination of Tima Marathe to the position of Vice President of the
Brighton Campus Student Government Association for the 2009-2010 academic school year.
