COMPLETING AND SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION
The application must be printed or typed and fully completed upon submission. Failure to
disclose information, especially that which might represent increased liability risks to the
student, agency, university or program, is grounds for denial of admission or later dismissal from
the program.

The evaluation process will focus upon academic standards and all information contained in the
application.

OTHER APPLICATION INFORMATION
If additional information is required, members of the Admissions Review Committee may
request an interview to consider the student’s ability to successfully complete the program. Such
students will be contacted to arrange an interview.
All students who meet the minimum academic requirements are invited to apply. Any student
who transfers out of the program and/or does not take classes at TWU for two or more sequential
semesters must reapply for program admission.
*Transfer students, not currently enrolled in TWU, that are applying directly into the
Psychology Program, please include transcripts (can be unofficial).

AGREEMENT
I agree to the following conditions in applying to the Undergraduate Psychology Program at
Texas Woman’s University:
1) I have read and I believe I can adhere to and abide by the Program Code of
Professional Conduct. I realize that failure to do so may result in disciplinary action
by the Undergraduate Psychology Program, up to and including dismissal from the
program.
2) I understand that I am required to maintain a minimum 2.5 overall GPA and to
complete each required Psychology and Philosophy course with a grade of C or
better. I understand that my grades will be monitored each semester, and I will be
reviewed by the Admission/Review Committee for possible action should my grades
fall below the minimum level.
3) I understand my individual progress as a Psychology student will be monitored by the
Undergraduate Psychology Program. Therefore, I agree to allow appropriate
information concerning my academic progress to be shared with representatives
within the Undergraduate Psychology Program.
4) I understand that I have three opportunities to complete each Psychology and
Philosophy courses successfully (C or better) before I am dismissed from the
program.
5) I agree to observe all policies and procedures of the Texas Woman’s University
Undergraduate Psychology Program as explained in the Student Handbook and
General Catalog.
