Directions: According to the TRiO grant that funds NoGAP, all McNair Scholars must conduct a summer
research internship before their senior year. You can complete this internship either at SSU under the
guidance of a faculty member, or through another organization or university. If you are completing the
internship off-campus, briefly describe the internship and attach a description from a website if one is
available. If you will conduct this internship at SSU, discuss it with the faculty member and develop a
plan for how you will complete this internship; describe this plan below. As a general guideline, the
internship should take at least fifteen hours to complete, and can be directly related to your NoGAP
research project.
