Friday, Dec. 5th, 10-11 A.M. The CCSF Gospel Choir directed by Charles Hudspeth, since
1982, will perform in celebration of Professor Hudspeth’s retirement.
Saturday, Dec. 6th, 8 P.M. First Church, Van Ness/Sacramento, SF. Come and hear CCSF
Guitar Instructor, Lawrence Ferrara, soloist and ensemble director for the annual Holiday Guitar
Ensemble Concert
Sunday, Dec. 7th, 2:00 P.M., at The National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi, 610 Vallejo St.,
between Columbus Ave. & Grant Ave. WINTER CONCERT, performed by City College
Masterworks Chorale, directed by faculty, Dr. Michael Shahani. Works to be performed include
Vivaldi’s Magnificat and music by William Billings, Benjamin Britten, and Randall Thompson.
Monday, Dec. 8th, 1:30 P.M., CCSF Campus Student Union, City Café Level
A guitar orchestra in music for multiple guitars directed by CCSF Music Instructor, Lawrence
Ferrara. Ensemble performances of music from the Renaissance, Baroque, and holiday favorites
such as Pachelbel’s Canon, Carol of the Bells and Greensleeves.
Tuesday, December 9th, 8 P.M. at the Diego Rivera Theatre on Ocean Campus. The CCSF
Advanced Jazz Band & Jazz/Rock Improvisation Ensembles, directed by David Hardiman Jr.,
will perform with special guest artist, nationally acclaimed jazz drummer, Carl Allen.

December Songs Concert by CCSF voice students of Helen Dilworth. Public is invited! Admission
is free, food and beverages are available for purchase.
Friday, Dec. 12th, 6-9pm, Labor chorus concert by students of Pat Wynne. Potluck at 6:30,

The CCSF Charanga Orchestra ensemble, directed by Anthony Blea, will perform Cuban rhythms in
their winter concert.
Monday, Dec. 15th, 1:00 P.M., Winter WoodWind Concert by student of Charlie McCarthy’s MUS
7W/17. Works to be performed include compositions by Mozart, Bach, and traditional music for the
season.
Tuesday, Dec. 16th, 7-10 P.M., Winter Voice Recital by CCSF voice students of Judy Hubbell
