Comments on Proposed Ruakura Development Plan Change Draft Decision Report
Under section 149Q(4) of the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) the applicants, relevant local authorities, submitters and the Minister for the
Environment may make comments on minor or technical aspects of the draft report within 20 working days after the date the draft decision is
released. Comments on minor or technical aspects of the report can include:



minor errors in the report; and/or
the wording of conditions specified in the report; and/or
omissions in the report (for example, if the report does not address a certain issue brought up through submissions or at the hearing).
Parties may not comment on the Board of Inquiry’s decision or its reasons for that decision.
You may use this form to provide comment on aspects of the draft report for the Ruakura Development Plan Change. Your comments must be
received by the Environmental Protection Authority by 5.00pm on Tuesday 02 September 2014.
Comments can be received either via email on ruakurapc@epa.govt.nz or by post to; Ruakura Development Plan Change Team, Environmental
Protection Authority, Private Bag 63002, Wellington 6140.

Parties are encouraged to work with other parties with similar interests for comments, to avoid repetition.

Parties may update or add to their comments at any time within the specified 20 working days, however, all updates must be received by
5.00pm on Tuesday 02 September 2014.

The Board will consider any comments received in accordance with section 149Q and may make amendments to the draft report
accordingly.

At the conclusion of reviewing the comments, the Board will make its final decision and produce a written report in accordance with section
149R(1) of the RMA.
