CALL FOR PAPERS
The conference will accept papers, theoretical or practical, with topics related to the following general fields:

Physics: Einstein’s works, their use and influence in theories developed later in the field
Engineering: energy efficient devices, electromagnetics, big data (video analytics), and wireless
communication (millimeter wave)
Literature: Einstein’s love for fairy tales and children’s literature, literary genres influenced by or
connected to Einstein’s works
Philosophy: Philosophy of Science, Religion, Politics that relate to Einstein’s life and works, Comparative
studies in science and mysticism
Mathematics: relationships between Mathematics and Einstein’s work in Physics, influences of
Mathematics on Einstein’s work
Religion: Einstein’s religious views, philosophical discussions on pantheism and atheism, intersections
between religion and science
Music: issues in composition, performance, etc., related to Einstein’s works and his love for playing the
violin
Education: pedagogical issues spurred by Einstein’s works and view on life and intelligence
Psychology: issues in the making of geniuses, including struggles with learning disabilities
Politics: Einstein’s view on politics, his private thoughts and publicized positions.
Gender Studies: issues regarding women in the field of science, Einstein’s collaborations with scientists
who are women, and other gender-related issues in the scientific field and relevant social contexts.
Holocaust: Einstein’s stand on the Holocaust, other scientists who lived through or were victims of the
Holocaust, and related issues
Art: Science and Math based Art and Art works addressing Holocaust/genocide themes
Einstein for non-scientists: issues related to the translation of Einstein’s technical works for non-scientists
Abstract Submission:











Submission of an abstract is required for paper presentations. Use the format given below.
All abstracts must be written in English and submitted electronically to projecteinstein2015@dlsu.edu.ph
bearing the subject: “Paper presentation, Project Einstein 2015”. Files must bear the sender’s Surname in
uppercase letters, followed by his or her given names in lower case letters, and a shortened form of the
paper/poster’s title, eg., SANTIAGOjoseEinstein&Music. Faxed submissions will not be accepted.
Prepare your abstract as an MS Word document (.doc file format) consisting of 300-500 words using Arial
11-point font typed in letter-sized page, with one-inch margins on all sides. The abstract MUST BE in
TEXT ONLY without graphs, pictures or tables, and should contain a title, name/s of author/s (underline
the name of the presenting author), department/s and address/es.
Abstracts for paper and poster presentations must contain a brief introductory statement of the research and
continue with the summary of the results obtained, followed by a conclusion(s). It is not acceptable to say
“the results will be discussed at the presentation.” The abstract must also include a list of key bibliographic
sources.
Standard abbreviations should be used throughout the text. Any special or unusual abbreviation should be
spelled out in full at first mention, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses. Please use a minimal
number of abbreviations.
Symbols (i.e. Greek) can be used as well as boldfaced, underlined and italicized characters.
Include acknowledgements of the source(s) of research support (if any) on the bottom line of the abstract.
Check the abstract carefully for grammatical or typographical errors.
Upon submission, you will receive an email acknowledgment receipt.
If the abstract of the paper is accepted, the author has from October 2, 2015 to Noember 15, 2015 to submit
the full manuscript, which will be published in the conference proceedings. If the paper is not submitted by
the said date, only the accepted abstract will be included in the proceedings.
Presentations on the days of the conference must not exceed 15 minutes each.
