Microsoft Office 2010 Training
Having a public go live date would force
everyone to think about their own skill
levels and whether or not they require
training. I would implement a training
plan delivered in two ways:
Effective
monitoring
and
management
of OCS
system to
ensure high
availability.
More effective
communications.
Reduce travel
costs.
Effectively
manage

More detail needed.
HR considers that we
should consider a
structured approach to this
training rather than rely
upon users.
Staff training:
Scheduled open workshops to be held
by a skilled trainer for 1 to 2 hours every
2 or 3 weeks covering specific topics
We could publish screen
shots and give options as to
which methods to use e.g.
A small staff survey using
relating to the use of Office 2010. These
workshops could be recorded and
uploaded to a website for further
viewing and training also. Sessions
could also be opened to staff and
students or held separately if desired.
3B
In addition to the workshops I would
look at utilise the campus agreement
discount held with Microsoft and see
whether or not something could be
provided from their e-learning portal or
general training catalogue.
