ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY INDICATIVE SCHEDULE FOR A RECOMMENDED TEN WEEK LEAD-IN PERIOD 10 w/c Receipt of Event Documentation Officer sends to Chair and Technical Officer*; arranges meeting / makes arrangements to discuss documentation 9 w/c 8 w/c 7 w/c 6 w/c Planning Meeting Exec Officer Liaison with Panel Chair, Exec Officer, Tech Officer, Proposal Team Leader Meeting confirm documentation has met the threshold standard and event can proceed discuss draft programme for event, eg tour of resources required; meeting with students; involvement of PSRBs discuss Briefing Document Chair/Officer to discuss key issues arising from the documentation with the Proposal Team Leader and to summarise these for circulation to the Panel Send to the Panel (including external): Documentation Briefing Document, including guidelines on documentation content Provisional checklist of issues completed by Chair/Exec Officer (electronic version sent at same time) Exec Officer Liaison with Proposal Team Request comments from Panel within 2-3 weeks (i.e. by event minus 6 weeks) on: the checklist of issues – electronically any additional information required from Team in advance of event 5 w/c Chair / Exec Officer Liaison Chair and Officer to consider comments from Panel and to finalise the checklist of issues and any additional information required from Proposal Team 4 w/c 3 w/c Exec Officer Liaison with Proposal Team Send to the Team: Request for additional information (if applicable) within 2 weeks Briefing document (including the Event Programme) and the checklist of issues to be discussed 2 w/c Exec Officer Liaison with Panel and Proposal Team Send Chair and Panel additional information received from Team (if applicable) Exec Officer Liaison with Panel Send: Final checklist of issues (including a copy of the Technical Report) Final details of logistical arrangements for event, if not described elsewhere. Send to the Team: Briefing document (including the Event Programme) Confirmation of the outcome of the Planning Meeting Proposal Teams are strongly encouraged to establish contact with the Technical Officer at an early stage of the curriculum development process and preferably well before the formal submission stage.
