DECISION
Proposal to offer a placement year on an existing
postgraduate course
Anticipated recruitment of up to 50 international students per
annum
The proposal is to support preparing students for future
careers in accountancy
The work placement module will require students to seek out
a placement position or number of positions over a specified
time period
20% new modules, new 45 P credit module
Standard semester delivery
Approved
Proposal to offer a placement year on an existing
postgraduate course
Anticipated recruitment of up to 30 international students per
annum
The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of
Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
The proposal aims to provide student with experience of
work in a professional business environment
The course will be underpinned by employability skills
training, reflective assessment; students will be expected to
reflect on their experience in writing and orally to
demonstrate how they have applied theory and learning
within a work-based environment

The proposed course would focus on the cloud computing
needs of IT practitioners in a wide range of organisations
The course will offer two intake points to attract international
students
33% new modules, 60 new credits
No significant capital spend

Proposed tuition fee Home/EU Band B, international fee
£10,500
Anticipated annual recruitment of 40 students
The proposed course would be an applied course aiming to
achieve general practical transferable skills in software
development supporting companies in a general business
contact, (not in-depth programming)
The course would be run alongside the existing BSc (Hons)
Business Information Systems course
The course will offer two intake points to attract international
students

with no guarantee of placement

Architectural Technologists)
The proposal aims to improve the employability and
employment prospects for our students
The course will offer two intake points to attract international
students; sandwich placement is also attractive to
international students
