Resume Proofreading Checklist
Directions: Work with a partner.
Use this checklist to ensure that you get the grade you expected; see the Resume Rubric
also. Proofread the resume yourself, and correct your mistakes. Then, print the resume
and have 2 classmates proofread your resume. They should sign their name and make
corrections on your resume in red ink. Once they finish proofreading, go back proofread
the resume again for mistakes they might have missed. When you finish proofreading, go
back and fix every mistake. Print a clean copy and staple it to the one your friends
corrected. The clean copy should be on top. Turn in your final copy on the day of the
Final. (Please review the Rubric to understand how your resume will be graded)
