HCC Star Party Extra Credit
The Star Party runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m. but be sure to factor in the setup and
breakdown time of the telescopic equipment when planning your arrival.
Up to 15 points of extra credit can be earned by attending one of the HCC star
parties (http://hccstarsquad.wordpress.com for schedule) and completing the
following requirements:
 Get a description of three of the telescopes (i.e. brand name, type
[reflector/refractor], objective size, etc.)
 Write a paragraph giving details on three of the celestial features that you
viewed. Ask the astronomy buffs for an explanation of what you’re looking
at.

Lastly, pick one of the three objects you viewed at the Star Party, do some
cursory computer research on it and then type up what you found on one
side of one sheet of paper.
