The Grade Point Average is determined by calculating the percentage of all Grade Points to Credit Hours in a given period. CGPA = Cumulative GPA, total for all UIS coursework So, if current GPA is below 2.0, then you must earn above 2.0 GPA this semester to bring cumulative to at least 2.0. For example, if current GPA is 1.65, you must earn at least 2.35 to bring CGPA to 2.0. GPA STRATEGIES Make a study plan and stick to it. Use a planner/agenda, refer to and update it regularly Monitor your progress. Check your grades regularly Ask for help. Talk to the instructor, the course GA, the CTL tutors, your classmates Access and utilize all resources available to you. Advisors, CTL, Library, Residence staff, etc Focus on the positive!
