The concepts, issues and skills needed are listed below. 1. Students will complete a written personal goal plan with short and long term goals 2. Students will learn how to set up a personal budget 3. They will learn time management and use a personal time log to identify time wasters 4. They will role play to learn how to resolve conflicts 5. Role play will also be used to study interview techniques 6. Students will write a cover letter and resume SCAN Foundation Skills - Basic -Reading Foundation Skills - Basic -Writing Foundation Skills - Basic -Mathematics Foundation Skills - Basic -Listening Foundation Skills - Basic -Speaking These skills will be developed in the learning objectives and assignments. There will be no make up of exams unless extenuating circumstances exist and you need to be discussed with me prior to granting a make up. Additionally a class project will be assigned.
