VSEC Supplemental Form S-1
This form is used to determine whether a team is eligible to participate in the VSEC
competition when that team’s project is related to/a derivative of a faculty
member’s research and/or has received some external funding prior to submission
to VSEC. Please answer each question provided here and submit this form to
VSEC@Villanova.edu. A decision regarding participation in the VSEC competition
will be made and sent to the team leader within 7 days.
1. If this project is related to/a derivative of a faculty member’s research:
a. Has the research received external funding?
b. If yes, from what source?
c. Is your proposed idea different in any way from the faculty member’s
research? If so, how?
2. If your idea has received funding from any external source:
a. How much funding have you received?
b. What is the source of your funding?
c. When did you receive the funding, and how has it been used (in
limited, general detail)?
