SMART CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS
Laptop Projection
1. Turn on MAIN POWER at panel (green button).
2. Connect laptop to VGA input on panel.
3. Connect laptop to data port (blue jack) on panel if using Internet.
4. Connect laptop to PC audio input on panel.
5. Turn on projector and select “computer” input (green button).
6. Turn on amplifier if using PC audio and adjust PC audio volume.
7. Turn on the laptop.
8. To project image:
Using a PC:
From a Dell laptop, press <Fn> + <F8> once or twice. To project image from a non Dell laptop,
press <Fn> and the function key that indicates “CRT/LCD” or a monitor icon.
Using a MAC (you will need to supply your own adapter):
Click on the Apple icon; select System Preferences; select Displays;
select Detect Displays

Turn on MAIN POWER at panel (green button).
Turn on DVD/VCR combo player and load VHS tape or DVD.
Turn on projector and select “video” input (green button).
Turn on the amplifier and adjust DVD/VCR volume.
UVN (University Video Network)

Turn on MAIN POWER at panel (green button).
Turn on the DVD/VCR combo player, select “VCR” and tune to assigned channel.
Turn on projector and select “video” input (green button).
Turn on amplifier and adjust DVD/VCR/UVN volume.
Use telephone remote control instructions to control tape.
