Accessible Technology Initiative – Steve Van Ness and Pamela Ohrazda o ATI Presentation This Law applies to all Electronic and Information Technology (E&IT) purchases over $15,000. The CSU system has launched a system-wide Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) to ensure that each CSU campus follows state and federal laws mandating access to technology. University Auxiliary and Research Services Corporation (UARSC)– Dora Knoblock, Roger Stein, Greg Svatora and Jan Cushman o Foundation (UARSC) Presentation Dora introduced herself and summarized her role as the Executive Director. She then introduced three Foundation managers. Greg Svatora, Director of Finance and Business Services, Roger Stein, Associate Executive Director, and Jan Cushman, Grants and Contracts Administration, introduced staff that were in attendance, and gave a brief overview of the areas they are responsible for. Additional changes will be coming in the near future as they continue to identify and refine current services. Dora extended an invitation to everyone to visit the Foundation Building. A listing of Foundation employees and their phone numbers was distributed and will be posted as a handout for today’s meeting on the PCBO website. New Application for Student Employment – Wanda Boller o New Application for Student Employment The new application has been approved by Legal Counsel. The new application includes important questions that help in the hiring process. Wanda is forming a committee to help her with ideas and suggestions to improve the student application form. Upcoming Events/Announcements o Visa to American Express - Bart Westbrook CSU will be converting from Visa to American Express in the near future. Office Max is one of the campus’s main vendors and will be accepting American Express. Updates will be provided as the process moves forward. Contact Bart x4456 if you have any questions. o Budget Information – Liz Rojas When the Budget Office contacts you regarding revenue that has been received, please provide the chartfield string where you want the expense budget to be posted. Campus budgets will be loaded by September 30th. o Other Announcements Now posted on the PCBO website is a “Who to Contact List” for the Business and Financial Services area. These areas include Accounting Services, Systems Operations and Development, Accounts Payable, and Procurement and Support Services.
