Instructions for Applying to the
Communication Society
Membership in the Communication Society is open to all matriculated students of Cal State San
Marcos. Membership shall be recognized upon completion of registering and paying
organizational dues.
Purpose for Communication Society:






Stimulate interest in the field of communication
Promote and encourage professional development among communication majors
Provide an opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas in the field of communication
Establish and maintain close relationships and understanding between faculty and
students
Provide mentoring opportunities of upper classmen
Explore options for further graduate studies

(This will add you to the Comm. Society’s Listserv. All information will eventually be
sent through Listserv)
2. Fill out the Membership Form
3. All checks ($10) must be made payable to : Communication Society -ASI
4. Submit your Membership form AND payment to Dr. Kendra Rivera in SBSB 2108
