Course Prerequisite(s) FREQUENT REQUISITES This class requires certain basic academic skills. These skills and the remedial classes needed to attain those skills are: Academic Discipline/CTE Program Learning Outcomes Reading—9th to 11th grade minimum – GUST 0342 Math -- Basic Math – remedial – MATH 0308 English -- Sentences and paragraphs remedial –ENGL 0300 or 0349 1. Late work will be accepted with a grade reduction of 11 points. There will be make-up opportunities for exams if the student has a legitimate reason for missing an exam. The instructor will determine the legitimacy of the reason for missing an exam. There is no makeup on pop quizzes regardless of the reason. DISCUSSIONS, PRESENTATIONS, AND TESTS PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Given the specifications for various assignments and exams, the student will accomplish the entire student learning outcomes below. To compute grade point average (GPA), divide the total grade points by the total number of semester hours attempted. The grades "IP," "COM" and "I" do not affect GPA.
