PROJECT TITLE: CRM Technical Assistance to IMR Parks
EFFECTIVE DATES: September 30, 2006 – Sept 30, 2008
PROJECT ABSTRACT:
The NPS Intermountain Region Cultural Resources/Santa Fe program has been tasked with correcting
deficiencies identified in an independent audit of cultural resources databases. To address this issue, the
Intermountain Region (IMR) designed corrective action plans to achieve these goals. As part of the corrective
action plans, the IMR also wishes to work through the CESUs to develop a Technical Assistance to Parks
(TAP) project. TAP project goals include developing condition assessments for historic structures and
features listed in the List of Classified Structures (LCS) and the Cultural Landscape Inventory (CLI). An
equally important aspect is updating data and data entry into the LCS and the Archeological Sites
Management Information System (ASMIS) databases. Also included are research, editing and writing
Determinations of Eligibility and National Register forms for significant properties within the IMR Cultural
Resources program.
