The purpose of this project is to provide architectural documentation for the Head Homestead, El Malpais National Monument (ELMA). This will include HABS
Level 1 documentation of the extant two-room log cabin and stock pens. The final product will also include a preservation plan with treatment recommendations that will assist Park management to ensure the preservation of this resource for future use.
