The school’s Academic Honesty Policy can be found in the student handbook. Plagiarism
and cheating are the most common forms of academic dishonesty. If I feel that you have
plagiarized on your paper, I will give you a zero. Make sure you give credit to whoever
wrote anything you quote or summarize – anytime it is not your own work or thought.
For students seeking any type of accommodation, please speak with me and I will be
more than happy to assist you in any way.
This syllabus is an approximation of our schedule and test dates. I allow tests to be made
up but would like you to do so the day you return to class. Please be in class on a regular
2
basis. I take roll and know who is in class and who is not. I do not drop the lowest
grade. I do not drop you from the class. If you wish to withdraw from this class, you
must do so yourself. Please let me know if you are experiencing any difficulties and I
will help you any way I can.
