Symplectic Symmetry of the Neutrino
Mass

Abstract
Neutrinos play an essential role in electroweak physics and there is a
fascinating interplay between neutrino properties and various astrophysical
phenomena. The neutrino mass is perhaps the most exquisite hint for physics
beyond the standard model. In this work the algebraic structure of the most
general neutrino mass Hamiltonian is examined. The transformation that
generates the seesaw mechanism explaining the light neutrino mass is
discussed.
