 Northern Arizona Food Bank offers nutritionally balanced food boxes containing a variety
of food items for families and individuals in emergency situations. Click here to contact

St Mary's Food Bank Alliance

 St Mary's Food Bank Alliance has two programs available for families or individuals in
need:
o Food Value Club enables families or individuals to purchase food at a deeply
discounted rate compared to supermarkets. The Food Value Club box includes a
menu of nutritional food items, both non-perishable and frozen, offered in a variety
of packages to fit diverse budgets. Click here for more information.
o Emergency Food Boxes are available to individuals and families in need with a
referral from the local AZ Department of Economic Security (DES) office. DES

Meals

 Coconino County Community Services has two programs available for seniors in need:
o Congregate Meals are served at lunchtime Monday through Friday at the
Flagstaff Adult Center. Meals provide seniors with 1/3 of their recommended
dietary allowance. Also offered are opportunities for socialization, volunteering,
exercise, activities, trips, and nutrition and wellness education. $2 donation
suggested for diners over 60 years of age and $5 donation for all other diners.
o Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals at lunchtime Monday through Friday to
homebound seniors in Flagstaff. These meals provide seniors with 1/3 of their
recommended dietary allowance. These meals help seniors to maintain their
health and provide an outlet for socialization. Seniors also receive nutrition and
wellness information. Participants must be referred to the program by the Area
Agency on Aging ((928) 213-5254).

Flagstaff Family Food Center serves hot meals daily from 4 to 5:30 pm and is open every

 Through the DES Nutrition Assistance Program, thousands of Arizonans are able to
provide adequate nutrition for their families. These services, combined with the support
provided by the Women, Infant and Children program at the Department of Health
Services and the Free or Reduced Lunch program through the Department of Education,
also help to minimize the risk that Arizona’s children will experience developmental delays
as a result of poor nutrition.

 The Arizona Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Program is a federally funded program
designed to provide supplemental foods, nutrition education and referrals to other health
and social services as a part of good health care during critical times of growth and
development. The goal is to prevent health problems, and to improve the health status of
eligible women, infants and children. Contact the local office for an eligibility appointment.

 The goal of FUSD Free and Reduced Lunch Program is to give every child the
opportunity to eat a well-balanced meal. In order to assure this, we have a program
with the Arizona Department of Education which enables a child, without the proper
means to pay for one, to receive a meal. The applications are available at all FUSD
schools and at the Food Service office. Summer meal programs are also available.
Applications take approximately 10 business days to be processed so please be sure
to apply quickly if you need this assistance.
