A Master of Science in Engineering Graduate Advisory Committee shall consist of at
least three faculty members, one of which can be from outside of the student’s home
department. The chair of the advisory committee and one other member shall be from the
student’s home department (CENE, CS, EE or ME). The third faculty member can be
from outside the student’s home department and must be within engineering unless a
member outside engineering is warranted by the type of work being conducted, at the
discretion of the chair of the advisory committee and the department chair. A fourth,
non-voting, member of the advisory committee is optional and must be selected from an
academic area relevant to the student’s interests.
