1)Prior to the world war ll, the ethnic groups that dominated the South Bronx neighborhood were
African Americans, west Indians and Hispanics.

3) It is important to make a distinction between youth gangs and youth clubs. Youth gangs tend to be associated with violence and power while youth clubs tend to be associated with the encouragement and positive construction of local communities.
