The committee expressed its concern regarding the following issues: -- The four project phases lack specificity and a clear work plan. -- The current sabbatical leave categories do not allow for curriculum development. The 2 committee feels that Dr. McLeod’s proposal to use the sabbatical leave for the development of an online course should be discussed by the District and the AFT in the hopes that this and related issues can be resolved so as to add another category if appropriate and if mutual agreement can be reached. The committee recommended that Dr. McLeod consider another sabbatical option. A revised sabbatical leave plan should be forwarded to the Office of the Vice President/Academic Affairs no later than 28 November 2001. 3
