IMPORTANT:
Engineering Students interested in the FE Exam
Updates from College of Engineering:
1) Our FE website has been updated with the video from the Thermo review and the ppt from the Circuits review. http://www.engg.ksu.edu/current-students/fe-exam/
2) Please see the NCEES Examinee Guide ( http://ncees.org/exams/cbt/examinee-guide/ ) for information on the registration process and common questions. For example, when you register, you will need to wait until your status as an engineering student or as a graduate of an ABET EAC accredited degree program are verified. You will then receive notification that you can schedule your exam date and location - even if you will not be in KS you can take the exam in other locations. You will also have up to
12 months from your approval to schedule your exam.
3) If you graduate in December, please see #2 above - you can still register for and take the exam. If you wish to wait until you settle in your new location, I would still strongly encourage you to take the exam
ASAP.
4) The KSU Testing Center (Ms. Valentina Burton) has reserved two dates in January specifically for our students: Friday January 9 and Saturday January 17. Below are the instructions for students who are interested in testing on either of the test dates offered. Send questions or concerns to testing@ksu.edu
1. Visit http://ncees.org/supplemental-pages/my-ncees/ and create a My NCEES account (only)
2. Visit Dean’s office or Dr. Clark’s office and sign-up for a test day
3. Send an e-mail to testing@ksu.edu
to inform the Test Center that the student’s account has been created and a test date has been selected
4. Expect an e-mail response with information on the expected date for site opening to register for the exam.
5. Send questions or concerns to testing@ksu.edu
The KSU College of Engineering FE website is up and is located at: http://www.engg.ksu.edu/current-students/fe-exam/
Please visit the ASCE webpage bulletin board for more helpful resources.
