Draw a picture to go with your poem SENSORY POEM Example Spring [Sight] Spring is green with bright yellow buds, [Smell] The scent of rain mixes with blossoms in the air, [Hearing] Birds chirp with newfound vibrato in the trees, [Taste] Succulent strawberries ripen in the sun, [Touch] The warm earth brings forth flowers Sight Describing Rocks 1. Open Sack #1 and describe the rock. Return the rock to the sack. 2. Open Sack #2 and describe the rock. Return the rock to the sack. 3. What is that smell? 1. Write down the number on the cups 2. Identify each of the 4 spices Tastings. That tastes like ? 1. Break 2 Q-tips in half for 4 tasters. 2. Dip the end of the Q-tip in the spice and identify the flavor as sweet, sour, bitter, salty 3. Throw away the Q-tip 4. Use a clean Q-tip for each tasting 5.
