Division SLO Committees: We need to revisit these and decide what roles these
committees should play in the review of SLO assessment proposals and reports.
ASLW – Postponed until Spring: Should we align this with the large student art show
in the spring? I would like to explore ideas, especially with the Fine Arts division, of
having actual assessments take place during this ASLW in the Spring.
Getting Ready for CurricUNET: I’ve attached the “CurricUNET Tasks List/Data
Needs for Start Up” document we were just sent. On Tuesday and Wednesday,
November 18 and 19, I propose we hold three 1.5 hour sessions (Tuesday afternoon,
1:00 – 2:30, Wednesday morning, 10:00 – 11:30, and Wednesday afternoon, 4:00 – 5:30)
at which faculty will be invited to participate in open, brainstorming discussions about
curriculum, SLO and program review processes. Based on the results of these sessions,
we can plan a “Retreat, Rethink and Redesign” all day conference either during January
or as part of Spring ASLW.
