Holt D. Grogan Personnel: C. Striepe K. Holt Forms for program-level SLOs were created last fall semester and rolled out at spring flex day. The goal is to create a program level proposal (assessment report form). The assessment proposal forms will only be used for one more semester and then transferred to CurricUNET. It was noted that courses taught by adjunct faculty are exempt from the deadlines for now. Although adjunct faculty are required to complete additional work other than instruction, up to a maximum of four hours a semester, it may take more than four hours to work on SLOs. III. Claudia Striepe’s Draft of Sixth Core Competency Committee members were asked to review C. Striepe’s draft of a sixth core competency and email comments to all. IV. Review of Assessment Rubric Committee members met in small groups during the meeting to discuss rubric for evaluating assessment proposals and shared their findings to the committee as a whole. How to train to use rubric: (1) move ahead and work on assessment; (2) do not change timeline; (3) clarification of what an assessment and SLO is. In reviewing the rubric for evaluating assessment proposal chart, it was suggested to combine data and dialogue together and rename Data & Dialogue. L. Gallucci will assist J. Simon on the second draft which will also address common pitfalls in creating an SLO assessment proposal. V. Share Recommendation 2 Document The timeline to complete Recommendation 2 for the Accrediting Commission was discussed. The final draft will need to be completed by the September 8 Board meeting. L. Kjeseth would like Recommendation 2 in draft form by the end of the spring semester. VI. Adjourn The meeting on April 27 is cancelled due to the Assessment of Student Learning Week. 2
