Her current research focuses on parenting approaches that may place children and adolescents at risk of becoming overweight and ways in which parents and families can foster healthy lifestyles among all family members. In her work she adopts a strong multidisciplinary approach that incorporates theories and methodologies from the fields of Psychology, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science and Nutrition.
