Purpose:
To strengthening student’s skill of rounding whole numbers to the nearest ten,
hundred, or thousand
Grade Level/TEKS Reference:

Number, operation, and quantitative reasoning. The student uses place value to represent
whole numbers and decimals. The student is expected to:
(A) use place value to read, write, compare, and order whole numbers through
999,999,999; and
(B) use place value to read, write, compare, and order decimals involving tenths and
hundredths pictorial models.

Instructions:
A. Click on webpage above under source for game
B. A demo of what to do will begin
1. Begin by reading the mystery riddle at the middle left hand side
2. After reading, select a number at the top of screen (ranged from 0 thru 9)
3. Drag the number with your cursor
4. Place the number on the appropriate order stand at the bottom of the screen
5. You can rearrange the numbers, send them back to the top or replace them by putting
another number in its place, as long as you don’t click enter
6. Once you have finished placing all the numbers from the mystery riddle Click ENTER
7. You will get a “CORRECT” green word with a chime sound or “INCORRECT” red word
with a buzzer sound in the middle plain box
8. Once clicked enter, you will be automatically moved to the next mystery riddle
9. Once completing 10 mystery riddles your score will appear in the middle plain box
10. You can choose to play again by Clicking to “Play Again” box
