DIVISION COUNCIL MEETING
HUMAN RESOURCES

Classified Service Awards is scheduled for October 23rd from 1:30-3:30. HR staff
will set-up beginning at 8:00 a.m. We will rotate staff to help set-up so that there will
always be coverage in the office. We will close office from 1:30-3:30 so that HR
staff can attend.

Managers should have each of their employee’s home telephone numbers; however, if
a Manager needs to contact HR to get that employee’s home telephone number, the
phone number can only be given directly to the Manager.

HR will have a team building session on December 18th.
4.
Marcy asked staff for input on technology needs. A few suggestions included:
Microfische personnel records; a room for testing applicants; enhancing application
on web so that applicants can type directly on application on computer. Suggestions
to be given to Marcy today so she can address with Alex on Tuesday.
