Vocabulary:
1. imaginative (adjective) : fanciful; characterized by evidence of having
imagination
2. stooped (verb) : to bend the head and shoulders forward and
downward, from an erect position
3. emphasized (verb) : to lay upon, give emphasis to, or to stress.
4. furious (adjective) : full of fury or rage; extremely angry
5. fluorescent (adjective) : strikingly bright, vivid, or glowing

printed from my website. We will not spend much time in class studying spelling words. This is primarily
homework. 10-15 minutes a night will be a good system unless it is discovered that more time is needed. Daily
repetition is the key! Your child can look up the list and play games on www.spellingcity.com. Tests are generally
