Wednesday, April 20- You will be able to earn up to 125 points for completing of the following project. Return this paper attached to your project or loose points DO NOT FORGET TO CITE ALL OF YOUR SOURCES You will be creating a formal dinner party for yourself and nine historical figures. 1. There needs to be an even number of men and women, including you. It should include famous people from different aspects of history, but not limited to individuals such as rulers, military figures, politicians, reformers, scientists, author, composers, and artists, etc. Keeping all this in mind select one person from each of the different time period. A. Ancient times F. 1700’s B. 1 A.D. to 1000 A.D. G. 1800’s C. 1000 to 1350 H. 1900- 1950 D. 1351 to 1600 I. 1951 – present E. 1600’s 2. You will create a formal invitation. 3. You will create a menu for your dinner party. Remember that certain individuals might have religious or cultural dietary restrictions. A. Drinks D. Side Dishes B. Appetizers E. Dessert C. Main Course 4. You will choose the music that will be softly playing in the background. 5. You will create a formal seating chart. Keep in mind who you sit next to whom and across from each other. They will want to be able to carry on an interesting conversation with the people surrounding them. Also remember their status. You will sit at the head of the table, but the higher their rank (royalty to commoner) the closer they should sit to you and the head of the table. 6. You will turn in a typed paper: A. give an explanation of why you chose the individuals that you did B. How and why you placed the individuals around the table C. Create a script of the evening’s conversations. (what type of questions and answers would each individual ask the others around them) There should be a minimum of 3 different questions asked and properly answered in detail D.
