& EVALUATION POLICY

Parents and students:

In the spirit of creating appropriate musical experiences, and preparing students for modern cultural involvement, the

Central Junior High School Vocal Music Department has set up the following classroom guidelines:

Students who are having difficulty complying with the guidelines will be lead through these steps of improvement:

1. A polite reminder

2. Forfeit of first ten minutes of lunch

3. Contact of parents

4. Thirty minutes of detention

5. Referral to principal

Students will keep a “ points list ” of

EVALUATION

Students will be evaluated by various assignments, projects, quizzes, keeping of a FOLDER, daily work, as well as extra credit. At least 2500 points will be offered. When a student's average lowers to 70% or less, parents will be contacted to see if improvements can be made.
