can qualify for 5 year tuition waiver at any
Oklahoma college. Students must maintain a 2.5
GPA in their core subjects and in their cumulative
courses, and stay out of trouble and away from

The applications will be judged based on
appearance, neatness, content, scholastic abilities,
extracurricular activities, and financial need. Pick

High school GPA of 2.5 or higher, ACT score of at least
19, U.S. citizen, physically capable of passing a physical
and taking part in physical training, morally capable of
living up to the U.S. Army values of duty, loyalty,
respect, selfless service, honor, integrity and personal
courage. Application and acceptance by OU is required
for entrance into the ROTC program. For those who
don't meet admission requirements, the Army ROTC
may be able to provide assistance. Applications are

Significant financial need, leadership in
community service, extracurricular activities.
GPA must be 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must

Students planning to earn a degree in engineering
or a related science (math, chemistry, physics,
biology, computer science). Must be a U.S.

Students must major in chemical engineering and
should have excelled in math and science as well
as other course work in high school. You can pick
up an application in the counseling center or go to
http://www.cbme.ou.edu.
All Oklahoma high school students are eligible.
All entries must be the original work of the
student. Poetry (up to 100 lines) or Short Fiction
(up to 5,000 words) is acceptable. Limit 5 poems
and 1 short fiction pieces per student. For a list of
complete rules, please see your English teacher or
the Counseling Center.
Graduating senior enrolling in a public college or
university, U.S. citizen or permanent resident,
GPA of 2.75 or higher. Apply online at
www.kfcscholars.org after December 1, 2009.
Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0
scale. Students must complete all the required
admissions applications material and be accepted
for the 2010-2011 academic year at one of the
National Commission Partner Institutions listed:
Johnson & Wales, Rochester Institute of
Technology, Toledo, Drexel, Kettering, Pace,
Cincinnati, or Wentworth Institute of Technology.
