Each student should receive a copy of the syllabus for the course on the first week of class. 2. There will be 3 major tests. 3. Each major test should be announced at least one week or the equivalent in advance. 4. Either an open book or a take-home major test may be given at the discretion of the instructor. 5. Any review sheet for any major test should be comprehensive and the student should not feel that classroom notes, homework and major tests may be ignored in favor of the review sheet. 6. Each major test is counted for 25% of the final grade. 7. There will be a comprehensive final exam and questions on it can deal with any of the course objectives. 8. The final exam must be taken by all students 9. The final exam is counted for 25% of the final grade. 10.The final course average will be used in the usual manner.
