Culture to Culture Foundation Scholarship
Agency Interns
1. Participation Agency shall have demonstrated a well-established training program
and their commitment in cultural competency particularly in working with the
Chinese Community.
2. Interns/Trainees are students who are currently enrolled in a graduate school or an
accredited educational institution of higher learning in social work, clinical or
counseling psychology, martial and family therapy, or counseling and related
disciplines.
3. Interns/applicants shall have the opportunity to serve the Chinese American
population during his/her practicum/internship by applying his/her bilingual skills
(Mandarin or Cantonese, in addition to English).
Graduate Students
1. Student must be enrolled as full-term (12 units or more) in Graduate programs of
Counseling, Psychology, or Social Studies with intent to pursue a career in mental
health and related fields with an interest in serving the Asian American
Community.
2. Must be bilingual and therefore be able to use their bilingual and bicultural
strengths to serve the Asian American population.
Submission Requirements : Deadline is Friday, September 30th, 2005
1. Student/Intern’s Resume
2. Essay 2-pages 1000 word essay on topic "How will this Scholarship affect My
Future Endeavors in the Field of Mental Health".
3. Agency/ School Recommendation Letter.
(The participating agency/university will collect and submit the application package
of qualifying applicants to Culture to Culture Foundation.)
